Industrial Grade Hexamethyl phosphoramide 680-31-9

Hexamethylphosphoramide (HMPA) is extensively used in various applications and it is considered a reliable ionizing solvent for superbases. Hexamethylphosphoramide (HMPA), is incorporated as a cosolvent for aqueous electrolyte to stabilize the Zn anode.

Fire Hazard

Hexamethylphosphoramide is combustible.

Waste Disposal

Excess hexamethylphosphoramide and waste material containing this substance should be placed in an appropriate container, clearly labeled, and handled according to your institution's waste disposal guidelines.

The effect of chemosterilant Hexamethylphosphoramide (HEMPA) on developing oocyte follicles in the fruit piercing moth Eudocima materna were studied. In line with the wide and broad application of HMPA, we designed a Ru(bpy)32+ ECL sensor for sensitive and selective detection of a phosphoramide, HMPA, for the first time. Importantly, the developed sensor was utilized for the detection of HMPA in lake water and waste water samples with high %recovery (98.0–102.5%).
